چکیده

Understanding the complex mechanisms underlying redox-mediated biological processes is a fundamental pillar of cellular biology. We describe identification and quantification disulfide formation reduction in response to phosphine–borane complexes. illustrate specific cysteine effects novel bis(3-propionic acid methyl ester) phenylphosphine–borane (PB1) on cultured 661W cells. A total 1073 unique protein fragments from 628 proteins were identified quantified, which 13 found be statistically significant comparison control Among Notch1, HDAC1, UBA1, USP7, subunits L4 L7 60S ribosomal subunit, all are involved redox or cell death-associated pathways. Leveraging ability tandem mass tagging spectrometry provide quantitative data an exploratory manner provides insight into effect PB1 other compounds may have redoxome.

Newest Targets for Anticonvulsant Agents: An Overview

Epilepsy is a neurological condition characterized by recurrent seizures influencing about 1% of the worldwide population. Despite much progress in understanding the pathogenesis of epilepsy, the molecular basis of human epilepsy still remains unclear. Common approaches for pharmacotherapy of epilepsy are still directed towards controlling the symptoms and suppression of seizures. Clinical use ...

Metformin selectively targets redox control of complex I energy transduction

Many guanide-containing drugs are antihyperglycaemic but most exhibit toxicity, to the extent that only the biguanide metformin has enjoyed sustained clinical use. Here, we have isolated unique mitochondrial redox control properties of metformin that are likely to account for this difference. In primary hepatocytes and H4IIE hepatoma cells we found that antihyperglycaemic diguanides DG5-DG10 an...

Cysteines as Redox Molecular Switches and Targets of Disease

Thiol groups can undergo numerous modifications, making cysteine a unique molecular switch. Cysteine plays structural and regulatory roles as part of proteins or glutathione, contributing to maintain redox homeostasis and regulate signaling within and amongst cells. Not surprisingly therefore, cysteines are associated with many hereditary and acquired diseases. Mutations in the primary protein ...

Controller designing for use in laser targets in Paralympics shooting

Since 1976, Shooting was include in Paralympics sport mach’s to establish same target conditions for different types of handicapped people, it is essential design a system of “laser target controls”. In this study, a laser target controller is designed by determinable of wave length of laser accuracy then, by using parameters, performance and ever redacting, theses wave length import as inp...

Redox-sensitive transcription factors as prime targets for chemoprevention with anti-inflammatory and antioxidative phytochemicals.

Oxidative stress has been implicated in various pathological conditions including cancer. However, the human body has an intrinsic ability to fight against oxidative stress. A wide array of phase 2 detoxifying or antioxidant enzymes constitutes a fundamental cellular defense system against oxidative and electrophilic insults. Transcriptional activation of genes encoding detoxifying and antioxid...
